Ok so I want to do an exhaust and from watching YouTube videos my favorite have beEn ones where people do a rear muffler delete and swap the resonator with a muffler. Well I have a few questions about this. First is this legal? Secondly, is all I need to do is put the muffler In and swap the rears with pipes?

Deleting the resonator isn't illegal. Moving the muffler isn't either. It is the converter when you get rid of it...THAT becomes illegal. Plus...a 3800 with the mufflers deleted sounds like crap.

Just be like me and get some custom rust holes in the mufflers from salt in the winter. Doesn't sound half bad. And as the hole gets bigger, the car sounds better haha. I like it anyway

the problem is that a bullet muffler doesnt provide as much muffling ability as two large mufflers at the back.

Yes...maybe...but it HAS a resonator...and it HAS 2 mufflers...and probably a cat. SO its quiet...and designed to be quiet and sound alright.
