i have oil spraying out of what looks like the valve cover gaskets, it doesnt spray out on idle but when the rpms are over 1500 it sprays. what should i do?
on a side note when i rev the engine the MPH goes up while in park or neutral, this started right after the car started spraying oil

it SPRAYS out? to do that you'd need a ton of crank case pressure, which isnt normal.

Check your PCV, it sounds like it's installed incorrectly. Hence you are building crankcase pressure.

The PCV only goes in one way and if it were reversed, damaged or stuck open, the vacuum on the case would be huge. A blocked pcv will cause a pressure increase. remove the oil fill cap and check for pressure with the engine running.

Do these cars have both a pcv valve as well as a vent like the older engines had? typically the vent was in one valve cover going to the air cleaner and the pcv valve was in the other.
if so its impossible to build pressure even with a plugged pcv valve.

you do have a vent when you have to reroute your PCV system when you block it with an intercooler though...but that's something you'd make.

We do have a vent, if you want to call it that. What you're talking about is the inlet side of the PCV system. It's a small hole in the throttle body, which gets routed through the blower and LIM into the front head. It's small, though, so you'll still build pressure with a blocked valve or vacuum with a stuck valve.

Scimmia : thats exactly what i'm talking about. However on the older engines it was a 1/2" pipe or so.
