Spray that b1tch with methanol...and drop to a 3.5" with the headers...POWAH! That should be mid 13's if you can drive it right.

The normal stuff.
Full Size IC on a top swap would net around the 3.4" area...then I'd get bigger injectors and hit it with just a 50/50 mix of meth and run a 3.25...MAYBE...but in the long run a cam will make or break the pulley drop. Even a small VS would let you probably run a 3.25" after the IC/Headers...or Meth/Headers...but you won't know until you get it scanned and tuned.
was a beast...
i'll have to agree with everyone on this one...i wish i would've cammed mine when i was doing it...alot of people ask me why i didnt do that considering how much i had into it!!...so go ahead and spend a few extra and cam the b*tch!! lol
Not to thread jack this or anything, but for topswapping, is it ok to use parts from a 1997? I know they had the ****ty vacuum controlled trans and what not, but would the l67 parts be ok to use?
Someone was selling a VS cam on here for like $200...it is still a cam...and you can use the stock valvetrain too.
yeah wait until you swap it to put the headers on...you have alot more room to work on it!!! also if anyone is wantin to do a cam when you do the swap that is the best time for it!!
Traeger2591: i did a swap on mine and used parts from a 97 buick riviera and they work great...you might wanna get the heads sent away to be magnafluxed just for safety assurances...lol i had 2 cracks in mine!!
DD, DD/Top end or Top end?
VS, S1X, XP.
I like the train of thought that says "go with the XP since it pulls where you actually have traction."
