I got the tube first so I put it on for fun to see what It was going to look like.

    Filter in box.

Do you think its ok that I have the wires pointing up on the Computer? and is it ok that it is resting on the cable release and a little on part of the a/c???

I do, but i dont see how its that secure.

I wouldnt want it touching anything hot aka your upper rad hose or crossover pipe.

ya that makes alot of sense and I need to look at that but I do have it zip tied really well to a little metal bracket. what did you zip tie it to in the bottom?

hells no. it'd hit some part of your AC system before it hit anything else.

Put it down there and see where it can move. nowhere basically.

I took some of the grommets off of the bottom of my old air box and stuck 'em in the holes so the PCM isn't sliding around on the metal.

ok I'll give that a look in the morning. I was really dumb when I bought this and didnt think about getting a coupler to go in between the pipe and the filter. it was defiantly a slap your head kind of moment. Lucky enough for me mom has a 06 gt in the garage so I just took it to the hardware store to get one. I was still pissed

filter on TB? That could have saved the frustration, but not really time.

I tried that. it was actually my first reaction but since that filter is like 8" long it was running into the brake lines ect. so that wasnt gona work

Its the bend that restricts flow so the larger it is, the less of an effect it will have.

Wont really matter in your case though. Probably still an improvement from stock.

Get an air gun and find out for yourself just by using your hand. Noticed that with my headers....
