OK well the '00 is needing new exhaust, my y pipe is busted and my cat is giving the infamous rotten egg smell, so i started shopping for a new exhaust and down-pipe with cat, and so far ZZP has the best overall price for the Exhaust and DP for about $560 shipped. So my question is how is the ZZP Exhaust? anyone have any issues with it, anyone got any sound clips of it? Or does anyone have any other ideas on exhaust systems with catted DP's?

Get some speedy daddy headers, then Have a local exhaust place build you a cat back. Headers $250 local shop cat back $300ish. Borlas sound good, then just have them put a long ass glass pack in for a res.

I got ZZP's 2.5" catback without a res. as a gift, and I can't complain. My Y was busted, and it looked like someone had tried to jack the car up on one of the pipes..I've had the exhaust on for almost a year now or so, and no trouble. It clamped together really nice, and met up to my speeddaddy headers without a hitch. I can tell you now, the car will be really damn loud, and you will have highway drone. I would recommend getting a res.

I can try to get you an audio clip in the next few days if you want. Idle sounds wicked, midrange is nice, and highend rev's are raspy as hell.

$200 in gas + $100 for a hotel is 300 + 350 for catback = 650 so I might as well get it done here.

    ******* expensive bastards.

I was under the impression crush bends were extremely restrictive. My last exhaust was 100% mandrel bent, did I waste my money?

crush bends are okay if you go oversized on the pipe diameter. usually you want to stay away from them if you can, though.

Depends on who bends the pipe. If someone good does it they can hardly crush the pipe, your gp breaths out of 2" pipe at the end if I were going to build a whole cat back I would go with 2.5".
