I know the gen V is more efficient, and just by looking at it i can tell its bigger, but if i port the gen III, is there that much of a difference? is it even possible to port a gen V? do you think it would be worth my time and money to get a gen V when i can get all the gen III topswap hard parts for the price of the Gen V supercharger alone?

you can port both, but a genV will always be a step ahead, even in stock form. however, if youre not going for a big over the top setup then a genV is a waste of money unless you can get them for similar prices.

ok thanks thats helpful. im only looking for a mid-high 13 sec car so it doesnt sound like its really worth it at that level. i can always change if i feel the need i guess..

Agreed...I'd be willing to bet 3 more motors that the people who tuned your car did it for an L67, not an L36...meaning I bet it is knocking like a mofo.

Do you have a wideband or OBD2 scanner so you can see what's going on with your car?
