i just saw this video, before seeing it i had no idea what it was but ive seen alot of people talking about it on the forum. just wondering is it as good as this video says it is? and are you supposed to change your oil or do anything after you do it?

Seafoam is amazing, especially for higher mileage vehicles! What you need to change after you do it depends on how you do it. A full treatment requires putting some in the gas tank, some in the oil, and some in the vac lines. If you do a full treatment, you will need to run a few tanks of gas through to get rid of all the seafoam, then change your plugs and oil after.

If also heard that if you see foam and you have higher mileage vehicle it will def let you know where all your oil leaks/drips are thats why im scurrred to try

@KLJ That is true, but the same can be said about switching to synthetic oil.

The reason you change your plugs is that is one spot that the carbon can build up and the seafoam itself can cause them to foul out.

If you have the old plugs I would put them in first to save your good plugs. Its not required that you change them, but I would highly reccomend it. Its not the plugs themselves that would be the problem, its all the carbon and other crap that is coming off as you are running the seafoam through that gets hooked onto the plugs.

used seafoam on my 94 blazer and then my fuel pressure regulator busted wide open intake was flooded out with gas.. was getting 7 miles to a half tank of gas LOL!... then the hard starts from that caused my starter to come unwired from the wiring harness and fall off..

I've used seafoam in several vehicles ranging from 60Kmi to 220Kmi. Never once have I had an issue. The spark plug fouling out has more to do with you doing the treatment too fast. That's where most will see issues.
