I guess my biggest question is about the inlet and outlet diameters what size is ideal for flow and such?

2.5" is the biggest you want to go. if you have a stock catback, the inlet/outlet will be 2.25".

So for a stock exhaust i need a 2.25 inlet/outlet to fit the glass pack on the pipe behind the cat and in the pipe before the split?

replace the resonator with a glasspack. having both is a waste since you wont be able to run one long one.

magnaflows and borla's are decent and not to loud With my magnas with out tips and with out res it was drony but with res it killed the drone and with tis its a little more agressive then stock but not overly loud

Never liked flowmasters on the 3.8 cars

i have flowmasters on my 03 Monte and i get ALOT of compliments on how it sounds...especially just at idle...alot of people think i'm packin a V8 at idle because its so low!!! but i also think that most prefer magnaflows on the 3.8....go to youtube and type in an exhaust type or something on a grand prix or something and then you'll figure out which you like!!!
