    i want to put a cold air intake on my 97 gp se, but im not paying 300 bucks. that **** is a joke. im just gonna do it myself, but there is one issue. i hear the cpu is in the intake box, correct? if so, how would i go about putting the cone and piping on, and not have an issue with that? thanks for the help fellas

    just take the PCM out of the intake box and set it down where the box was. done.

    yep. it can just lay there completely unsecured. mines been like that for over a year now

    Atleast zip tie the thing down.

    gotcha. ill probably fashion a hold down for it or something. i dont think ill just sit it there
