I need HELP. Im chasing a problem that I cant find. I have a 98 GP GT. When its cold it runs great. But when warm it will buck and pop through the intake. I have tested the fuel pump and fuel regulator. Replaced the MAP, and tested the MAF. HELP what else could it be. When its warm it will cruse good but any exceleration is when it starts the bucking and poping. Please Help. Thanks David

Mine did the same thing last week, tested everything and found the pigtail for the maf sensor was bad. According to gM this is quite common as they sell a lot of these

Well, it could be a few items I would get it scanned tomorrow. Anyway I’ll give you a couple ideas.

First, my gut tells me you might just have a little water in your gas. If the problem magically goes away after your next fill up, that was it.

My second guess is your spark plugs. It just takes one bad plug to run like $hit. Or a related item like a bad wire or coil.

    Good luck.

My buddies shop is going to scan it for me. It has been doing this for about two weeks. plus I get gas at the same place every time. If its plugs it should have a mis to it and I dont.
