Can L36 lifters be run on L26 heads? The part numbers are different, but is it possible...? I really don't want to spend that much money on lifters for my bare L26 heads.

Hmm, I'm not aware of a difference. I haven't heard of any issues regarding this.

Where are you seeing a different part number for the lifter? To be best of my knowledge, they should be the same.
