Thread: Where to get a cat

Work is really slow right now, so I guess it's time to get back into my project. I want to replace the cat on my 97 grand prix gt. What do you guys reccomend on replacing it with? I want to pass smog and spend as little as possible on the replacement. Should I just go with a universal catco, or do you guys know of a place I can order a replacement cat I can bolt on, so I can avoid welding? Also I need to take the front exhaust manifold off to fix a crack or replace it. Does it take a gasket there? If not does someone make a gasket? I just want to make sure I have everything before I start.

the only way I know to get a bolt on cat would be a new down pipe (mine at least was welded on)

What is ed morad's email and who is he? I was looking to spend no more than 200.
