Does anyone have a custom tune chart for a 2001 GP GT w/ FWI and DP? Im planning on buying a custom tuner, and dont want to spend the money on dyno testing.

and anyone saying "dont do it" or "waste of time" are also welcome...

i did a search with no luck...

no one is going to be able to give you a tune specific enough to make your car run right. youre just going to have to experiment after you buy a tuner.

^^That. Or just get a mail order PCM from 3800 Performance...it is a DHP PCM...best mail order tune ever for these cars. You'll need some exhaust mods, a cold air, and a 180* T-Stat to take full advantage of the PCM though. That's just me though...plus the money you save...you can put into other mods and go faster than just a custom tuned FWI/DP car.

Where can you even get a dhp 1.0 for a GT anymore without worrying about getting your core charge money back?

    No where but 3800Perf.

It is the only place to buy DHP's anymore.

Have they given their money back? Last I heard they were skipping out on refunding the pcm core charges.

Most of the tunes are on the dhp powrtuner forums, if you really wanted to, you could start flashing these tunes to spare pcms and selling them. Of course you would have to do this on a small scale. Either use the car to flash them or build an off board.

I've got access to any GTP DHP bin file from '98-'04...but no GT's...otherwise...I'd be on top of that already...trust me

Everyone I think finally got their money back...but it took like a couple months or something. I talked to Ron? I think...the owner of 3800 Performance...seemed like a pretty cool guy and we shot the bull for about on hour on the phone. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one...but then again...they wanted to charge me a 40% re-stocking fee on my TEP Cam...I told him he could go to hell and I'd sell it outright.

actually they skipped out on my money return and my sender had signature proof of received. needless to say i dont do business with them anymore. Its not worth the trouble for court but if someone did or if i did you would probably want to sue them for way more than what you paid just to make them stop.
