So my fuel pump appears to be going out, could be the Fuel Pump Resistor too, I'll replace that tomorrow.

I was wondering, would there be any ill effects in using a fuel pump from a supercharged in a NA?

I understand that the supercharged fuel pumps are higher pressure.

Would the PCM have any issues with it?

Would the fuel pressure regulator not care and control the flow?

Would it be considered an upgrade?

I just bit the bullet and bought a new fuel pump at Checker Auto and took me about an hour to install it. Still have to change the fuel filter, but the current one is only about 8 months old.

My car still dies, going to take it to Autozone to get scanned. Hope it isnt the Crankshaft Position Sensor.

Got scanned and had codes P1361, P1362, P1374.

Cleaned/checked coils and wires. car runs, then will stall.
Time to hit the junkyards for ICM/Coils.

I took my car to the shop, they found a loose (+) wire, that when it touched the body/metal/ground, it killed the spark/ignition. They didnt state where it was exactly, am going to pick up the car tomorrow and find out.

Also there was a vacuum leak, causing the car to run lean, thus causing some/all of the codes, so they say. Parts were ordered.

Damage done to the wallet, $144, but I am going to assume more.

Shop said that front brakes needed maintenance, am in process of getting parts for 12" brake upgrade. Serpentine belt and tensioner needed to be replaced. Ebay/craigslist unless someone has them here for a good price.
