Ive currently got a n/a 00 gp gt and i plan on doin a topswap to it. but first i want to get a new full exhaust. what headers would be the best, and also i want an off-road dp with no cat. Im looking to get a 70s muscle car sound coming out of it. thanks

it IS impossible. leave it quiet and respect how it is. when these exhausts are opened up it just sounds ugly unless youre planning on introducing a turbo.

no if he plans on going top swapped he should get headers. Im running ssac headers and they seem to perform pretty well. i have some issues with the crossover portion sealing with the collector on the rear header. bio will suggest s&s headers, which seem to be pretty good too. as far as the dp, all the headers come with their own dp. my ssacs came with the flange to bolt to the res, the pipe coming off the collector at the rear header, and about a 1 foot section of pipe. this is so you can choose to run a cat or not. ssac are 349.01 shipped anywhere in the US. bio will give you a price on the s&s im sure.

ill suggest any set of headers that you think you can install. unless you know how to weld then pacesetters are going to be a big pain in the ass.

cheap headers - SSAC or pacesetter

not as cheap, but good install - S&S, SLP

expensive, but supposedly good - ZZP

i wouldnt buy OBX or any brand you can find on ebay. i just dont think you can cheap out on headers with these cars. the cheapest set youll find are going to push like $400, but you wont regret buying them either.

If you like to weld and fabricate then yes they are good. Get some SSAC's for $350 if you want some nice chap headers.

I have a complete SLP exhaust system (Headers, cat, and exhaust with mufflers) on my N/A. I'm relatively happy with it, gave the car more pep, but have a slight leak out of the flex pipe, which when I went to SLP they told me that is normal. Car is louder, sounds great at idle. I've heard some people on here think it sounds rice, but I don't feel that way at all. If you get this or other systems you will probably have to get the oxygen sensor delete or get your PCM reprogrammed because it will start throwing codes.
