alright im trying to replace the blower motor and fan resistor in my 98 gp. i was able to get the blower motor out without too much trouble but i dont get how im supposed to get to the back screw on the resistor. it seems to me the carpet and floor is in the way. i have looked around the forum and fortunately found a lot of information about why my passenger floor always has a puddle when it rains and what i need to do to take care of that but i havent seen anything about tips for replacing the blower motor and resistor...

sounds like the EXACT situation i dealt with with my cavalier

i would LOVE to find out how a person is "supposed" to do this.....

what i had to do is bust the hell out of the old one while it was still installed, then with the help of my needle nose pliers, i continued "ripping" out pieces until i was finally able to pull that back screw out. my new one was just held in with the front screw
