Well....I changed the fuel pressure regulator and the egr and it started...for a minute then died. I restarted it and had to give it some throttle to keep it going, if I rev'd it up, it would rev up then choke out. The fumes from the exhaust when it is running are strong enough to burn your eyes. What is up? I tried to unplug the MAF sensor and restart it, it didn't seem to make a big difference, when I pushed the gas it hesitated...What should I check now?

Hello, I was having problems with my 2000 gtp supercharge I was told I was having transmission trouble. It was shuttering when I would slow to go around corner, or start up & felt jerking as I was driving on hiway. It finally quit on me. I left it parked and came back several hrs. later and it started. we changed the cam & crank shaft sensors, upline 02 sensor, ignition module and finally the fuel pump. still no fix, so took it to mechanic. My fuel pump ended up being bad, & his diagnosis was fuel pump & filter, air filter and plugs & wires. I'm not sure I needed to change all of the first stuff, because it seems like it came down to the fuel pump & filter but maybe some of the things I mentioned that I changed could be your problem. I know nothing much about mechanics, so these are only suggestions. I did get a reading
