Since the tuning section is pretty much a ghost town I will put this here. Does any one have a DHP tune file for a GT that they could send me. I need the hptuners format.

I have dhp 1.0 pcm gtp in .bin format, zzp 1.0 pcm gtp in .bin format, dhp 1.5 pcm gtp in .bin format, Intense 1.0 gtp pcm in .bin format... I can look for a gt dhp 1.0... But no .hpt files...

Hmm I never new the dhp tunes where locked. I just need a safe tune for a stock gt. We will not be driving it so it will just be a quick flash. I also posted up on hptuners.com so I will see what I find there.

DHP tunes are not locked, the only pcm that I believe is, is overkills...

You can also go off of the tuner notebook for a guide for the same changes...

hey sho, is there basic bin files, well upgraded for mods. i have a dhp, but i cant get it to scan on vista. but could i try to upload a file and see how it runs??

i know not a good idea with out scaning, but figured a basic tune would not be that bad. im running an intense pcm right now and im not impressed with it.

Do you have access to the powrtuner.com downloads sections? Have you tried UVscan for scanning instead of the crappy powrtuner scanner? Ever use eddies table modifier program?

You have an 04 so obviously you would need an 04 or 05 file, all i have is a stock 04 file. They have more aggressive/better timing tables in stock form. I would say that you would be fine as long as they did not bump these timing tables up anymore, which intense might, if anything just revert the timing tables back to stock. You can throw basic pcm's on it, but its better to get comfortable doing the adjustments yourself and starting with a stock tune. Sometimes you can just browse through the aftermarket table changes to get a feel for what each one does. I would work on getting your scanner working before doing anything with timing or WOT runs.

Yeah...I was about to say...We've got quite a few DHP bin files here in KC that we use as a basis before custom tuning.

i tried uvscan, it never would download corectly and open. i have not downloaded eddies table modifier and tried it yet. when i first got the tuner i tried for about a week strait trying to get it working with lots of frustrations and kinda put it on the back burner.

but ive been cleaning some of the crap off the computer so ive been thinking about trying it again.

also eddie lives not that far from me, waitin to see if he will throw a tune on it for me.

has anyone ever tried to take a dhp software and hp tunners software and copy all the values into hpt to get it in that format since its locked.

I have hptunners but i never messed with my gp because it has a 1.0dhp and i can't edit it with the hptunners. I just don't want to start from scratch.

Yeah, vista is going to suck, there are a few who run it but I never dealt with it much. Eddie would be your best bet to either tune for you or help to see if you can get some programs running on vista.

So these files won't upload to hptuners from the car at all? That sucks, I thought hptuners read .hpt and .bin files, but you could only flash .hpt files. But the dhp 1.0 doesn't make that many changes versus another aftermarket pcm, it wouldn't be too difficult to go through and make your own dhp 1.0 .hpt file.
