    I have a 99 GP GT w/ 130k. I have a problem with the car running, The car starts fine idles great. After 5 mins of idleing i give it some gas and as i let off the pedal it just dies, The tach works fine but the trac. off light comes on after it stalls. The car will not start after it has stalled. Would a failed MAF cause the car to idle bad?? Yesterday the car stalled after 5 mins i pulled a plug while the car was hot and had a friend crank the car and the plug had spark, does that mean anything?? The car smells like it's running rich, it boggs and has little power and will hardly stay running after it gets warmed up. I'm just lost and don't want to put a bunch of money into parts i don't need. I forgot to add the car will not start after it gets hot, only if i give it gas and the rpm's are around 2500k. Where do i start??, Any help would be great. When i start the car there are no check engine lights on.

    well its never a bad idea to change out the plugs and wires..especially if they havent been...its cheap too

    If the CPS and ICM were bad would the plugs still be getting spark?? I checked the fuel pressure and the pressure is great, So i can't seem to figure it out. It's getting fuel and spark what gives, I guess it could be my MAF

    It was the MAF got it replaced all good to go.
