    i have an 01 gp gt.. with 4 inch FWI and fliped dog bone rubbers.. jumpped om it from a light and my flex plate broke in two???? has this happen to anyone

    To answer the question, they don't usually break on stock cars. But sounds like you beat the **** out of it sometimes, so yeah, somethings gonna break!

    dont know if it was broke befor??? didnt sound like it.. and no i dont beat it all the time.. but when someone is beside you reving it up wouldnt you??

    To answer your question......anything can break at any time, but these are not common to replace on our cars without reason very often. Probably just bad luck for you.

    fyi, It would have to be a GT flexplate or redrilled L67, they are different.

    O i had no idea nor did i take notice that he said it was a gt. thanks for the info thats something i def didnt know. so i guess i dont have one i have an l67 flexplate

    i broke an L67 one before... ****ty welding job by GM IMHO, check it out on youtube

    search for a video by skate4lyphe called "FLEXPLATE WHAT?"

    this was June 07 when that happened
