So professional mechanic for grand prixs vs blue gtp91 i think ill stay with the pros and he did say 180 t stat forgot to metion that 1. Thanks for the help tho
and last i knew... isnt milzeys specialized in grand ams and 3400 motors? (could be wrong.. sorry if i am) well good luck to you bluegtp has always been very intellegent on this matter... but check morads parts company when you need the new motor... he usually gives good deals and in regards to your gt beating and supercharged motor... he prob dropped to a 3.2 with the almighty 180 t-stat you would not beat any supercharged motor with a gt sorry

There are no chips. And it isn't pure power. It is called higher compression. Learn things before you start talking like a cocky mustang owner who thinks your GT almost hangs with a GTX. Because 2 seconds in the 1/4 isn't hanging...it is getting waxed.

Tell me, where is this "reprogrammed chip" you speak of? Furthermore, people were trying to help you and after reading this thread you seem to know it all and your going to do whatever you want. So go and drop pullies with your 180 t stat and reprogrammed fantasy chip and let us all know how it went. And when you blow your sh!t up we can probably help you find a good used engine.

Mustang guys.............. You are not making friends around here very fast. If you don't want to agree with all of the different people on here who own these cars, work on them, and have made some of the mistakes you are about to, that is fine. But don't ask for advice then. If you were looking to get support on here for doing things the "wrong way" good luck.........

if you did then you would understand that you need to get rid of the u-bend, upgrade the downpipe and fix the front exhaust manifold first so that you can get rid of the exhaust coming out of the motor. Then the CAI, or FWI whatever to get more and/or colder air into the motor. Otherwise you are going to have KR pull your timing like a mother...........and any other mod will just cause problems.

you were given advice... then you told the person who gave you the advice they are wrong... if you have a mechanic who builds 11 sec gtps why are you asking the forum anyway when you have him?

People gave you advice. They told you that you would need more than just a tune to safely drop a pulley size. You turned around and said your mechanic use to work for milzeysmotorsports and because of that our advice was no good. Go ahead and drop pulleys with just a tune and then let us know how much KR you have. You are going to scan for that after... right?

im pretty sure it all started when bluegtp tried to give you advice and you flat out told him he was wrong... just my .02
but i agree with unda6 this place should be friendly and helpful... it just gets sketchy when people talk down the "help" they receive..

i am all about helping people out. i have been since the start. blue actually took the time to write out a post, but the knowledge really came from the few of us that have been here from the start. i can give you all the advice in the world if you want to know what to do with your car and actually have real goals, but if youre going to tell us that we are wrong from some guys who supposedly built our motors then by all means learn on your own.

your car looks nice (if that is the one in your sig), btw.
