Sweet mother of God that is beautiful.

We have a local guy that has turbo GT that has that manifold, maybe he would be interested in one.

I actually thought of him when I was starting on this one, but I don't think his TB would bolt up. They are a different pattern than the L36. Other than that, I (think?) it might bolt up to the intake.

I'd like to do a type of core setup for now. That way, you can have this, and I can have an old one to polish back up. Currently, I think that Ed is out of the L26 intakes....I'm scouring Ebay though.

I'm thinking that they will be around $200 SHIPPED + or - a little. It shouldn't cost much more than $20 to ship these with insurance. So you're basically looking at $180 just for the polishing work.
I machined off a few of the casting ridges, just to clean them up appearance weise, and it really came out very nice...as you can see!

Really I don't think it's a bad price considering. They aren't cast very rough at all, and are quite a bit easier to polish. Anyone think that's a fair deal? or am I shooting high here?

I just ran the part numbers for the LIM, and this WILL bolt up to the L36....All run the same part number from 97-08...it appears that you will onlly need the adapter plate to make it look....

Me thinks this will make people happy

Here's a couple more pics of the intake. It's so hard to get a good picture of something polished so you can get an idea of the shine. This thing is literally a mirror.

Do you guys know if ZZPs HV3 will fit inside the L26 UIM? I have a HV3 in my series II, and would love to go with a polished manifold. However, if I recall correctly the HV3 will not fit?

This thing did have some kind of insert in it when I got it...I highly doubt it's an HV3, but I can take some pictures of that tonight.
