Depends cams are harder to install, more HP's (expensive). Rockers easier to install less HP's (not by much), less expensive

like he said above. if u want to have somewhat quick power w/o having the difficulty of installing the parts as well as on a budget i'd say get rockers. im running 1.9 stock modified rockers right now and i like them. for example, i have the GTP, and i can run at the smallest, a 3.4" pulley w/o issues and supporting mods and i can shift somewhat higher in the RPMs to be in the next gears' powerband. if you do end up with rockers depending on your motor's mileage it'd be good to prolly upgrade the springs and retainers to ensure no valve float.

if you're gonna get a cam, prolly best is to get a mild one. its good for mid-range power especially if you're not gonna go WOT to redline at the time. choice is up to you. im getting ready to swap my modified rockers out and having a local swap in a VS cam instead. good luck

all depends on what YOU want to do with the car...present, future? cost effectiveness.

if you are strapped for cash and dont have time for you car to be down..I would go rockers. they can be installed in a few hours.

where as a cam, the car will be down for a day or weekend depending on knowledge of the vehicle. you will net better gains with a cam, and a tune.

idk man personally if you dont plan on doing much else i wouldnt go rockers, because you should upgrade your push-rods and then your valve springs too. im not an expert on this, but thats just me, seems it would be pointless to get rockers if you arent planning anything further...anyone?
