Re: Tune Up Time
The easiest way is what bluegtp said...unbolt the dog bones and tilt the motor forward. I have done it without tilting the motor and ur hands will look like hamburger meat when ur done. Unbolt the dogbones, have someone help you roll the car forward and apply e-brake.

Re: Tune Up Time
Might not have something bolted down all the way or something didn't click...literally...like the wire on the plug.

Re: Tune Up Time
we checked that 3 times the back was a pain in the ass but the fronts i felt all 3 click, my step dad did the rears and he put a lot of muscle on them, since i posted this it only did it once and its been fine, i didnt have time to replace the fuel filter so he thinks it might be that the filter is gunked up and now with fresh fire going in the cyl that the misfire may be not enough fuel. but the NGK/Taylor combo is amazing, the old wires n plugs were shot, but i feel so much more power and response, i was doing 85 on the southern state yest and i felt like i was doing 60 lol

Re: Tune Up Time
FWIW when I installed my AL103's/MSD Coils/MSD Wires it misfired for about a day...then I went down and tightened everything again and it never messed up after that.

Re: Tune Up Time
ok, thats prolly why it didnt do it today, i didnt get a chance to clean the coils, but the system must be getting use to the new stuff, when i tell u the plugs looked like a 60 year old nawed on dog bone, i mean it lol,

Re: Tune Up Time
so...........all has been well with the tune up? I am currently waiting for the shipment of wires/plugs from TDC and will be looking forward to getting them on. My guess is that the car is way overdue for a tuneup. I am also going to be seafoaming everything I can get my hands on-oil, upper cylinder, gas...........I guess they even make stuff for the trans. Not sure if I will use any for the trans though(if there is stuff in there that is gummed up and this stuff makes it loose, I dont want it to get stuck anywhere it shouldnt be........might just drain the oil, change the filter and put new oil in the trans....)

Re: Tune Up Time
How many miles are on your car? And if it doesn't act up (meaning the transmission), just do a pan drop.
