    If you remove the master cylinder and possibly the bake booster will the engine & trans come out the top together? Please don't suggest i drop the sub frame.. I have no way to get the sub frame back into position.

    You can remove them both without removing the master cylinder and brake booster.

    You'll also want to remove the AC compressor and leave it in the car.
