I had a recent code that was MAF & mis-fire on # 5. I changed the MAF and spark plugs. 5 mins of the car running I had the mis-fire on #5 again. Changed the wires and the #5 plug again. still coming up with the same code. Changed the coil pack for the #5 plug.
I am still having the same code come up. anyone have any suggestions on where to look next?
    TY

no issues with water. I have not noticed any leaks.
autozone said possibly may be fuel injectors. Not sure about that?

Well that's about the only thing I see left. Possibly cut injector wires or something like that.

Swap that one out with one in the front set of cylinders to see if it thowrs a different code.

I only have this when I am sitting in park. My car will be running fine till it gets warm. Then it starts misin and the SES light starts blicking. Once you move it out of park the SES light stops blinking and stays on. I have also noticed that I smell bad exhaust fumes when this happens. Maybe some issues with the CC????? I hate when I can not figure out something that is probably so simple.
