I have a 2002 Grand Prix with 140,000 miles. Has anyone ever heard of a hole forming inside of the PCV housing? This hole isn't normal, right? As shown in the attached pic, the hole is between the PCV housing and the intake plenum. I'm not sure if the hole goes into any of the plenum chambers, but I noticed quite a bit of oil on the PCV valve. The car is giving a P0102 code (Mass or Volume Circuit Low Input) and a rough idle. I was told that the reference voltage for the MAF sensor is controlled by the MAP sensor above the PCV valve, making it possible for a faulty MAP sensor to create a MAF error code. I heard of many issues with these plenums, but not this. Any one know how this may have happen? I don't want to replace it and have it happen again.
