3 nuts and its in your hands. easier to work on the cables with it off. or leave them on if your just cleaning it.

Im replacing the TB so would it be a good idea at this time to do the MAF as well since it will be off, or is it one of those things that if it aint broke dont fix it?

Just for future reference, what are the symptoms of a bad MAF?

a check engine light most of the time...then theres stalling and poor shifting and erratic idle can happen with out a code.
dont get a aftermarket maf. oem only.
