    Does it do any good to have the LIM ported?

    Gasket match the runners if you have ported heads... Otherwise not much benefit. That said, look for Billboost's lim thread if you're going to port the lim, there's a few other things to do as well.

    if you switch to a gen 5 blower than you will either need a gen 5 lim or a ported gen 3 lim, and in that case there is a benefit to porting a lim.

    It helps some on NA cars, but don't expect much.

    So for an L36 that will stay N/A probably not worth the money?

    I would vote no, unless you'll be porting heads and upgrading cam/rockers.

    Nope. Save your money to top swap or turbo it.
