Hey enough of the politics. I didn't mean to start a discussion. I had someone plug a code reader into the car and it said a wheel speed sensor was bad aND the EGR valve was stuck open. I replaced the EGR valve and gasket and it's having even worse issues now. The rpms are ****ing up. So if I acceleratd, it does good until about 50mph then the rpm gauge drops to about 2 and stays between 2 and 3 and unless I apply a good amount of pressure to the gas pedal, it won't go much faster. If I apply a good amount of pressure it starts accelerating too fast and the gauge goes up to 5. It's only be doing this the last 3 days or so. Like a day after I replaced the EGR valve. Idk what I should do. This car has caused me alot of problems in the 3 weeks I've had it. Any info would be appreciated. Sorry for acting rude before, I've got alot going on.
sounds like a clogged cat maybe. it kinda sound like a vacuum with a full bag when you floor it? and rather gutless?
Actually it does sound kinda like that. Almost like if I apply more pressure to the the gs pedal that imma break something. It's almost like it doesnt want to accelerate more. Almost like something isnt letting it.
It sounds basically like the engine is revved up too high sometimes too.
you can remove the o2 sensor from the rear manifold, then drive it, if its got more power and runs better the cats clogged up. yes this will make a horrid exhaust leak, but its pre cat.
you can also drive it some what hard at night, pull over and see if its glowing red. if it is, its clogged up for sure.

Is it possible the throttle body and MAF or MAP cpuld have something to do with it? Maybe there is some restricted airflow or something?
as far as a restriction im hoping its the cat. go for a ride and beat on it some, make sure the engine is up to temp. you might even see the front manifold glowing red.
Yeah the engine temp is always pretty low. I always keep the fan on too. But even with it off, it's always still low. If I remove the o2 sensor, should I remove the whole thing or just one of the banks?
just the one closest to the engine, aka pre cat rear manifold.
be easier to see if the cat glows red at night. you need a special o2 socket im sure you dont have on hand.
Nah the cat ain't glowing at all. I did take a video to show what I'm talking about though kinda. It's easier to tell when I'm on the freeway.
