Hey ppl my 97 pontiac grand prix sputtered and died on me going up the street. I had my temperature sensor unplugged, because my temp gauge read too high, and i unplugged it to keep my fans running all the time. I just plugged the temperature sensor back up and now my car is idling too high and pushing real fast. What should i do, i replaced my water pump and thermostat yesterday

Most likely a vacuum leak somewhere. Spray some carb cleaner around the vac lines to see if idle RPM's rise even more
