why? stock pipes are fine. 3 inch cat backs you loose hp. unless you got a turbo.

    Yup!

I like a lil rumble but certain rpm's it sounds terrible. I have magnaflows right now. But i'm going back to a stock system on my next gtp that i'm building.

    Or you know...

Go watch videos on the internet, since it exists...

And find what fits your ears the best.

I'd tell you to go with a 3" catless downpipe, whatever resonator, and new 2.5" piping to some quiet mufflers. Nothing chambered. So no SLP, Flowmaster, Jones Super V, etc.

    Think Borla, Corsa, Magnaflow, GMPP.

There. That's it. The rest is up to you brand wise.

it should, but iirc the pipe is 2.25 so you might need an adapter to make that res fit the pipe.

3" catless DP, delete "U-bend", 2.5" back. I pulled the resonator and I'm running magnaflows on mine and I like it. But it's personal preference. But what they say is true, the 3800s don't sound super awesome with different exhausts, but if you want more tone and sound you will get drone like a mother f*^ker...

Drone..... These aftermarket 'performance' systems should come with a free bottle of Tylenol for the drone. Oh holy hell. My friend ran SLP and the drone would give me a headache after 10 minutes. Terrible. Car sounded like crap. Exhaust will never sound good on these cars. Just annoying. I personally replaced mine with a Walker, aka Dynomax, stock replacement cat back. I agree with no chambered mufflers. If anything make sure to run a resonator and fiberglass packed muffler.

if you use stock ish mufflers and a res it can still be quiet with mandrel bends. theres a 2.5 option listed on that web site.
