I'm just wondering if anyone had ever heard of someone dynoing their car with an L26/36 top and L67 bottom with an XP cam? that's what I'm running currently, and while it doesn't have the power of a supercharged car, it is also no slouch.

There was a guy a few years ago that dyno'd a l67 with a stock cam and na top end. I'm thinking it made somewhere around 130-140 whp. I really doubt your cam will add too much more. I would still think a stock na car would beat you.

Would it be similar to driving my car without the sc belt?

maybe I can raise the timing enough to make my car faster. I'll take it to the 1/8th mile track next month and see what it does.

It'll be interesting to see!if you have gtp gear ratio(2.96?) That isn't going to help..
Hopefully going to take my car to the track this year, my 3.69 gears are figured out just waiting for my retune from overkill with the adjusted shift points (won't shift out of 2nd at wot..just pegs the RPM limiter and stays there lol)

I think I ran 37 degrees of timing WOT on my Lumina .

Are you on stock NA or S/C timing? That will make a difference.

I love the VS l32 sans belt Tq in the 04 gtp clone.

then I tuned it for 87 with the belt.

I would dump 400 shot of direct port into an NA topend L67/32 shorty.

try to find an SSm90 lim to build a massive common plenum with the shortest oem ports

progressively control that **** and id bet leaving cleanly with sweet 60's and ripping third gear a new one., only cost you a bottle when you wanna go fast, rest of the time its 87 octane daily driver

I was on supercharged timing until I realized that I was, it's on na timing now. I've been upping the timing advance a little at a time, I think I'm at 31 wot now. Still no hint of kr.

Is the ssm90 normally a na or sc manifold, having a hard time wrapping my head around what you said

Its a sc lim modified to put the injectors in the port roofs. For sc swapping an NA longblock without injector ports in the head

If you put a s/c on it you'll want to lower the timing back to 15-18.

I can't remember what the SSM90 kit is.

do they just drill holes? doesnt seem like it would be hard to fabricate one, but I already have injector holes in the heads. I drilled the holes in the L36 lower intake manifold and tapped them for plugs, so I could do a direct port nitrous injection. a 400 shot seems like a lot, not sure I would run that much. the other problem with direct port nitrous injection, is that it is expensive. I already have a turbo that is going to get put on in the next few months.
