    Hello I'm new to this site and I have a 2006 Grand Prix base model my car was leaking trans fluid because the previous owner out way to much in it(just bought it Saturday) and so I did a trans service and oil change went to go test drive the car after I filled everything up and now it barley runs my check engine light is on and my reduced engine light is on the previous owner had a junk yard motor in and a new gas pedal Assembly put in and it was running fine before I did the trans service what could it be

    you need the codes from the check engine light for starters. get the car scanned at autozone or something.

    I scanned them before it was talking about some connecter like connected 1 or 2 but idk remember for sure

    well those are important, we cant help with out out them. the codes hold the key to the repair.

    Tp/app sensor circuit problem, app sensor 1 circuit, app sensor 1-2 correlation is what they are

    looks like the last owner changed the wrong part, these codes lead me to the tps on the tb, the 04 up cars also have the gas pedal sensors fail.

    or maybe the tps just failed, hard to say.
