How would i go about fixing the wires? Will i have to individually pick out the damaged wires and retwist them together and tape them with electrical tape? Thats what im thinking about doing. I think this is the reason my car will not start now and the reason it Stalled on me twice and killed my battery, misfiring, Fried my starter, Theft system came on and went away, ect. When I put the key in igntion and just turn it over to start (Not crank) and leave it there, i go under the hood and wiggle the section where wires are damaged and the fan comes on, i can here throttle body open, ect. Im hoping this is the reason my car will not start. Electrical short. Any help appreciated.

Take more of the plastic loom off and to get more wire showing, then you will have to take the wires one by one and cut the broken section off and splice new wire in to repair the sections.

Don't just tape them, that isnt a good fix.

So i cant just twist the wires back together like you would do for normal electronic wires?? Just want to do it for now to see if it cranks my car.

If you twist them like you are thinking, they will corrode and you will have more problems in the future.

Cut one by one, and replace the bad section of wire with a new one. Solder and heat shrink is the best way to do the repair.

Many places... sell wire. Likely you are looking for 14 gauge stranded wire.

    Amazon
    Ebay
    Local stores
