    Stock mods?

One thing to do is get the 1996 3.4 upper intakes and such and swap those on. It's good for some HP. The removable throttle body on the 96+ engines gives you more options to change out your TB to a bigger one.

you could get a bigger downpipe from your exhaust manifolds to your cat converter so it flows a little better.

i agree with the removable throttle body... you see alot of them on oldsmobiles and monte carlos i have one myself and theres some 5 or 6 throttle bodys you can choose from aftermarket. also something thats relatively cheap is the u bend delete. you cut off the bend in the end of your exhaust and run two pipes from in front of your fuel tank one on either side and then run your two mufflers out. you can also remove your resinator if you havent already gives you a nice sound. alot of people use flowmasters because their cheap but i have borlas on the back of mine. and if your looking into down pipes i would suggest zzp. if you want to get into the motor a bit... you can port and polish the heads. or even headers arent too bad nowadays.
