Hey guys, posting on behalf of a friend. 2003 impala base model 3.4. Says when you accelerate it doesn't go and it jerks to try and go, if you let off the gas and press it again it goes. ~213,000 miles. Original tranny and motor. Oil changed every 3500 miles since 150,000 miles. Please help guys.

Your cat is clogged. Replace it.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

Could be, I don't think it's been changed in awhile, would this cause occasional hesitation?

It's a 30,000 mile part, like the intake air filter.

Don't forget your spark plugs and spark plug wires.
