Well its a sad day... my DOHC stalled out on monday and never restarted. the LQ1 has almost no compression. 30psi on all cylinders. when cranking i can see puffs of air shooting out of the intake side of the heads! so timing is deff off. not sure if there is damage inside, but its not really worth trying to retime it. It has 224,000 miles and a weak trany. add to that the price of a new belt, idler pulleys, tensioner, and the tools to do the timing belt will be the price of an l36. So, it is time for an engine swap. L36, topswap, and 4t65e w/ 3.29's
