Well. given. But enjoy the video. I went and picked it up from my old home. Topped it off with water... Drove it 100+ miles. to my new home. Not once did it want to over heat. was a 42* day. Drove it normal. then hard. seeing if it would crack under pressure. never raised past 110-115* no thermostat keep in mind... So yesterday i went to Nashville IL about 80 miles. and 8 miles from where i need to be. it spikes from 110-210 instance. then 260+ no where to pull over or anything. kept going. watching the needle touch the 10-mph mark. so WELL over 300* within seconds got a mile down got off the road. cracked the cap went down to 210 then drained it of air bubbles. water etc. kept going. was getting about 6-10 miles before it started again.. All this time the belt was running the water pump wrong way. simple fix at the part store. 36$ later. topped it off ran great and never touched 100-110 again. til hitting Missouri and 14-18 miles from home. it started it again. another bubbles was raising and lowering as i speed up and let off and high rpm drop from 210-100*, So i figure i post a video of what it's doing. The OIL still is not milky?!?!?!?!?. and it really don't have any power lost or anything. very faint white smoke. take awhile to over heat at times. but the bubbles. even at start up can pop the cap with air. but what gets me the most is. shouldn't it over heat with in mins and such? and Really not caring for the 3100 at 300,000+ miles. wondering if i could get away with trying Bar leak head-gasket repair for giggles. to see if i can get another couple miles out of it. Regarding anything. I'm buying a 3800 or 3400. but just want to mess around with it til it completely dead, and to see if that bar leak would attempt to work til i find a 3800 or 3400 worth buying.
