The check engine light will come on and you might lose fuel mileage if the computer keeps thinking the cat isnt working good enough, and of course it gone so it might.

Yes, with what he said above. but leave the resonator. You will hate your exhaust if you get rid of it.

Ok with a clogged cat it will get bad gas mileage also?,it's getting roughly 20 now,I thought without a cat the car will breathe better and improve, how loud will it be without it on?

If the cat is clogged that can also cause bad gas milage. W/o cat is a very minimal noise increase. If you remove the resonator you will get lots of nasty rasp and it will sound bad. Remove the cat, leave the resonator.

bummer. I usually just throw them up on CL or the local facebook buy/sell and some random guys will pick them up for anywheres from 50-150 for cats.

You can just pick up a universal Magnaflow converter on EBay for $50-75 bones.

Or, get a bolt-in downpipe from Milzy if they're still in business...they make 3100/3400 stuff.

If you went that route, not only would you keep the MPG's...but they'd probably improve along with getting better performance out of it as well.

Can I sent you my cat and we'll split the money? They are worth like $30 here.

The only problem is that if you delete the cat without deleting that second sensor on your computer, you could throw a code because it's an o2 sensor that sits right after.. It may also effect your fuel mixture.

you have a 03, you need the rear o2 in your years. cant delete it.

but you can use them o2 simulators to fake the sensor out.

    like these. https://www.google.com/search?q=o2+e...82363564876030

Thought those 02 sims didn't work on 01+ because the car would be stuck in cat diagnostic mode and burn a crap load of a gas and whack out your fuel trims.

    Sent from BFE

The o2 sim tells it the cat is working so it doesnt run the cat test. IIRC
