I just had the head gasket and LIM replaced because my car was burning coolant and putting out a ton of white smoke.
When I got that done, I also dumped the radiator and oil and got new fluids. I also had the water pump replaced.

It's still putting out white smoke now, just not nearly as much. The car also acts sluggish when driven, it Vibrates alot.
I had it diagnosed and the machine read a misfire in my engine.

Do you think If I replace the spark plugs it could stop these problems? Also, I have only driven it about 2 miles since I got the head replaced.
Is there a chance there is still coolant left in the engine and that I just need to drive it more to burn it all off?

My temp gauge also jumps around, goes from super hot to regular within a few seconds randomly up and down. If I stop and feel the engine its totally fine, the radiator cap feels cold to the touch still even. What is the problem with that?

    Thanks!

Change your sparkplugs and wires, that should take care of the problem if it is a miss. If that doesn't help, check for vac leaks.

Did you put in Dex or Green and which did it have before?

Replacing your thermostat should help with the temp issue. It could be your temp sensor, or worst case scenario you put the head gaskets on wrong and you get to do them again.

balls..you posted in the 3.1 section.

I think your gauge is jumping and rad cold..because your cooling system needs to be bled properly.

Likely the plugs need to be changed and you have coolant in the exhaust that is getting burned off.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
