    i just put my whole engine bac together an it crunk up an has a really high idle probaly around 3 grand my tac didnt work either for some reason so im just guessing but it nevers drops down i think its a vacuum leak in the intake manifold im so tired of tearing this thing apart any help,tips,suggestions would b appreciated im ready to drive again

    what year of car do you have? they had changed the vacuum line layout over the years.....

    Do you hear a sucking sound while it is running at all? check to make sure the TB is closing....

    at the passenger rear of the upper intake there should be a vacuum port....make sure that is plugged with the factory line, or the factory plug.

    2002 gp se 3.1 i dont really hear nothing the tb is closing an yea its a little vac line in the top left corner its hooked up i guess ima start tearing it apart tomorrow figure something out

    check all the lines for cracks, old age....and replace them as needed. If you have the chilton book for your vehicle, I would go over everything you did. see if you dont remember hooking something back up.........

    do one thing at a time, and dont rush. the 3.1 can be a pain, butit means well!!!!

    3.1 arnt that bad but theyy are fun to do intake gaskets on. but yea make sure tha vacumm booster is pluged in that can do it casue for it to idle that high it has to be pretty large.
