Thread: which is it?

Which motor does my car have? LHO or LG8? General Motors engine designations (and the generations etc) confuse the bejesus out of me. Are the early and late 3100 SFI motors just different generations of the same basic motor?


Which was the older 3.1 MPFI? Early 90s Luminas and such.

if your car is the 96 i think you have a lho i dont think that the lg8 can out untill 97 or later
