    alot of it ive read about and picked up of the years...you can search on here and on gpona.com(3100/3400 section), 60v6.com, the other links i posted up top..mainly just read and ask questions, its the internet someone has to have the answers

    i wonder if you can even swap a 3.1 turbo from an earlier year into it...
    i found a website if you wanna look into it, i see some decent deals on drivetrains and whatnot...

    only issue i see with that (and i dont much so i could be completely wrong) is that the upper intake is constructed differently on pre 2000 3100/3400's.... im thinking im just going to go from a 3100 to a 3400 for now, maybe get a tuner and play with that for awhile

    3100 hater here. Sorry I'm late.

    And if you need another one. I have a 3100/4t60 combo that comes with a car super cheap.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    yes the intakes are different, the newer 3100 upper intake are bigger then the old ones

    No, because if you want to modify something...save your money with something that has a platform...not a 3100...that you'll sink tons of money into and gain hardly nothing out of it. HP per Dollar the 3800 wins over the 3100/3400 everytime. Also...they are easier to work on too...and parts are tons cheaper.

    You want to go fast in it?

    Buy HP Tuners, Do a 3400/3500 Top Swap...and DIY a turbo kit for it...
