after the camshaft has been replaced, i found that the camshaft sensor is broken. totally.
i took another sensor from an overheated engine (same kind as mine), but my engine still won`t run smooth.
i`ve checked the output from the cam sensor- no signal. (the green wire) although it gets good ground and voltage (black and red wire).
oh, and i don`t have a code scanner. yet.
could it be a faulty cam sensor?
could it be the crank sensor as well? (when i`ve disconnected the crank sensor- the engine died. when i`ve disconnected the cam sensor- nothing happened...)
    thanks!

crank sensor sounds like its working, usually its either your engine runs or it doesnt with a crank sensor

well, i`ve replaced the camshaft sensor with a used one (from a running engine- so they told me...).
    the engine still runs rough.
on idle (if you can call it that way) the check engine comes on. on more rpm`s she goes off and again...
    any ideas?

im not sure as to what the cam sensor feeds to but dirty throttle body and dirty MAF can cause a rough idle among a few other things....there is also the possibility the second cam sensor is also faulty
