Will a 98 3.1 from a prix interchange with a 94 grand am? My sister wrecked my prix and i have a 94 grand am that i got from my aunt that has a blown motor. I have the motor pulled out of the prix and i would like to have the motor in the grand am if it will fit. Please help.

Physically, the motors should basically be the same. The problem is the '94 motor will be an OBD 1.5 vs. the OBDII that's in your GP, so the electrical end of it will not be compatible, unless you're willing to swap over the computer and all the wiring as well (will be nicer in the long run for tuning, diagnosing, etc).

'90 Pontiac Grand Prix STE McLaren Turbo (1/1000), '01 Pontiac GP GTP Special Edition (1/1341)
CURRENT: '00 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (ugh...boring regular one)

you can use that engine with all the older electronics. a direct bolt in no mods nessasary. have to use older injectors and fuel rail. the grand prix engine is the better engine. can give you a link for performce parts for the 3100/3400, also known as the 3x00 engines.
