Yesterday my GP started bogging down to about 500 rpm sitting at a stop light, and the service engine soon light came on. I put it in neutral and gave a little gas to bring it up to a normal idol where it wasn't acting like it was going to die. Noticed after I turned the radio down that there was a knocking noise different than the normal knock that I have had since 03. We replaced the spark plugs and the wires and it still does it. It showed that the #2 was misfiring. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix her.

It could possibly be the ignition coil. You could swap the location of that coil with another and see if the misfire moves to another cylinder. If it does, then it is the coil

Just had the coils checked. It's not the coils, unfortunatly. Going to try a combustion test tomorrow to check the injectors. I hope that is what it is.

that doesnt mean new engine, that means new heads. or even cheaper: rebuilt heads.
