Ok, its simple. Yesterday my car was fine. This morning on my way to school (20 mile drive) it was fine. When I get in my car to leave, I have p0302 showing, a flashing check engine light, a sputtering car with almost no power, and a loud tick from my engine. help, Help, HELP!

and forgot, yes i know p0302 is misfire in cylinder 2. the abruptness of this happening is what is confusing me so much. its been a week and a half since i got gas. took wire off coil pack and it made no difference. when u turn engine off u still hear one final knock. an ASE friend thought it may be my tensioner knocking due to the misfire but it continues even if i pull the tensioner back.

cant find my ohmmeter but i pulled 5 too off the same coil pack and the car about died from misfire, plugged it up and went back to how it is before. definately isolated to only cylinder 2. someone told me check the cat, but wouldnt this be effecting more than one cylinder? and the tick is loud. not a slight tick as in maybe a little lifter noise, like i drove up to my friend in his silverado and he heard it over both engines
