    I have a 2002 grand prix se with the 3100v6. I have let the car sit outside for a few days and go out in the morning to have to jump start the car. The battery is brand new(2 months old) and still tests perfect. I have an aftermarket stereo, but I disconnected the amp last night and went outside after 2 hours and the battery was dead. I have an aftermarket alarm, but that has been on for 2 years now and never had that problem with it before(best buy looked at it for me anyway n said it was fine...they had to jump the car after it only sitting for 2 hours). Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? The battery is completely dead in the morning and I have it on a battery charger as I am writing this.

    disconnect any thing not stock that has a power lead going to it and see if it still drains the battery. It could be that your alternator is not charging your system too.

    alternators dont charge the car when its off. once its started it runs like a dream. I dont drive it for more than 15-20 minutes then its sits for 6-7 hours at the very least
