got a 95 gp se 3100. it has on the odometer 299,420. coincedence..i think not! well it spun a rod, so i took it apart, had another crank, new bearings, i had a chipped piston from sum1 b4 me that tore it down for sum reason bcuz when i did a head gasket job ( timming chain fukd up and bent a valve) i found a peice of what looked like to be a socket wedge in the top of the chipped piston, well i didnt replace it at the time and it ran fine b4 timming problem so i left it, well sinc i rebuilt it i changed the spun rod piston and the chipped piston, so finally it will be ready for longevity =) maybe go to 400,000 miles hehe. tomorrow the 5th i am putting it back in, but i am nervous as usual about it. u know how it is when u rebuild sumthing with used crank, and used piston....well they were good. i originally got the crank for a van i had and ended up selling it, i got the two pistons out of a lumina that spun a bearing that i had sitting around. u never know when u r gonna need sum parts hehe. well wish me luck i will repost sumthing tomorrow when it runs. then i will be back to driving the 95. i am forced to downgrade due to the fact that the trans went out in the 2000 gtp and right now i dont have the funds to just go buy one. who knows i might be selling the 95 to fix the gtp...but for ow im gonna drive the hell out of it lol! also put the updated felpro metal intake gaskest.... nice. should run for a long long time.
